Flea-tique Late Night Edition @ S.A.M 27.03.09

PDQ was uber high & excited before the event. Not only going there to support B.N.W but also going to help out as well. Ooohhh! I was soooo tired after the whole thing but it was definitely an eye-opening & fun experience!


I did a bit of selling at B.N.W's stall too.. Hee... Ok the response aint that good but at least I sold 2 dresses... Haha.... B.N.W's sales was quite good & I'm happy as well cos her DIY efforts, friendly selling tactics & her hand-picked accessories all paid off. =)


I so wanna do it again so babe, u know who is the 1st to volunteer at the next Flea yea? Hee... Oh ya & get a 3rd person too so we can go shop too! *LOL*

1 said he wants to be Bill Gates for the day & he will transfer a huge sum of money to his own account… Another said she wants to be Angelina Jolie cos she’s pretty & rich… Chris heard & said to me, “Ahhhhh…. I know… U wan to be Jay Chou’s wife for 1 day!” *LOL* That’s how known it is that I love Jay… hahahah…

But it’s indeed an interesting question. My answer : I wan to be myself, as who I am now. Cos that’s ultimately who I am going to be anyway after that 1 day and I’m happy the way I am. Who do u wan to be for 1 day then?

He called just to ask what movie I would love to watch, where I wan to watch, where I wan to have dinner all so becos booking & reservations can be made in advance. To me, it's just another dinner & movie with another fren. Actually wanted to send me some flowers but I said no cos doesnt seem right. So he said he went to Prada to check the price of this item & thought of gettin it for me! What the? Ermm... All the more not right. But if all these were done by someone else, maybe it's a different story. Haaaa...

I guess one's brain reali doesnt function that well when mood is at the lowest & sian-est point... Gosh... my 1st biggest mistake : I actually mistook my ex-colleague (someone whom I've not seen in YEARS!) for being pregnant! In actual fact, she's not. I'm such a klutz. -.-

13/03/09, Friday :

Went for the 2nd 4E1 KTV gathering organized by Ben this time round. Response wasn’t as good as the previous one but it was still fun. 4hrs of singing & chit-chatting followed by chilling out at Mr Bean. Got home around 3am. Each time I see them, it brought back many fond memories of our school days. =)

14/03/09, Saturday :

Slept thru until 1+ in the noon & went to Suntec for the many sales there including the IT show. It’s crazy madness! What the heck about economy downturn… It’s like more than half of the Singapore was there… Freaking crowded! Din manage to get anything as expected cos it’s almost impossible to do so. Went for Korean bbq dinner & watched “Hotel For Dogs”. Only 1.5hrs but yet another good movie.

15/03/09, Sunday :

Suffered from a bad headache, nua-ed the whole afternoon & had dinner with mum & sis. Went to Jerry’s @ JK with Ben, 446 & Thomas for dessert & coffee. Proceeded on for bowling @ Super Bowl. Played 2 games only but it was damn fun! I missed those days when Thomas & I went bowling almost every other day after school & during school holidays. Ben, the self-proclaimed “Bowling Prince”, broke his personal record of 80… Wahahaha… that’s becos he never scored over 80 when he bowls… By the time I got home & showered, it’s almost 1am that I slept. Zzzzz…..

Flea-tique! Flea Market is back for 2009! Beat the recession blues with our very special late night edition at SAM. With over 40 stalls featuring an eclectic mix of locally designed fashion and home accessories, preloved clothes and accessories, vintage collectibles and more. It is happening on 27th March 2009 from 7pm to 2am. Location is the front yard of the Singapore Art Museum.

Busy, busy, very busy....

It’s always normal & common to complain how busy work is but it gets on my others’ nerves when u overdo it. Here are just a few conversations between this annoying Mr W & various persons :

Person A : “Hey, can u please follow-up on this?”
Mr W : “I’m reali very busy. I have many meetings, conference calls, audit checks and service issues to attend to. Don’t tell me now can?”
Person A : “Oh u seemed to be VERY busy. So when can I remind u again?”
Mr W : “I’m reali very busy… (repeats the same old stuff again)
Person A : *walks away*

Person B : “Hey, can u please call this so and so? He requested a callback from u.”
Mr W : “I’m very busy. Can I call him later in the evening? Or can u help me to call?”
Person B : “He asked for U to call back, not me. U’re the manager in-charge of the issues.”
Mr W : “Oh then can u call & let the person know I’m busy & I will call him back soon?”
Person B : “Ok, I will call him now to inform that u’re very busy to entertain him.” *Hung up*

Person C : “Hey, can u check at your end if the application forms received yesterday are still there?”
Mr W : “Can I check later & get back to u? I have 45 urgent items to attend to.”
Person C : *speechless*

WTF! If u are so bloody busy, where did u even find the time to count how many urgent items u have? Get on them instead of complaining! Duhz… As I’m blogging this, he just walked past my desk muttering to himself “wah a lot to do ah… *shakes head*…”

I heard “I Swear” by All-4-One over radio this morning & it brought back many lovely memories. I remembered I felt so touched when this senior sang this song to me during one of the school concerts. Those days, it was sweet & innocent puppy love. It was only a matter whether u like or dun like each other. U walk past the classroom & steal glances at the person u like. U make little stars in a bottle for the person u like. U give the “results” of the Home Economics cooking class to the person u like. U hold hands with the person u like & feel that’s love. But now, love is a whole lot complicated…..

I read some reviews prior to watching the movie. Reviews were quite good with some even saying that u will need a box of tissue nearing the end of the movie! Seriously, no kidding! OMG! I think I never cried that much watching any other movies before.. *Sob* This is reali an awesome movie & it's definitely worth watching.
