Double Blues on a Monday

Apart from the weekly Monday blues, I’m seriously suffering from post holiday blues! I don’t wan to come back!! I wan to ROC there by the beach, gaze at the pitch black sky filled with shiny stars, sit by the deck chilling out, enjoying the sea view & sea breeze and with just the right company of the babes. I wish I’m there still……. =(

Blogging - A way to stay awake for that little while... =p

*Yawnz* That’s what I’ve been doing for more than 10 times since morning. So sleepy!

Went for the MDIS Movie Screening of “Transformers” last night with Zann & Ling & dinner (or I should say supper) thereafter. I super love the movie! There are so many goddamn machines & each transformation makes me watch in awe. The graphics and all makes the movie even more impressive. Definitely worth our 7 bucks… haha… Every min of the show is attention grabbing & maybe that’s why at the end of it, we were surprised to know that the movie was 2hrs plus & was already close to 9.30pm when we stepped out. Dinner at Café Cartel thereafter makes us full & satisfied. Haha…

Anyway, I’m happy for Ling that she got a job offer & is so getting out of the Co. which provides FOC “gym services & lunches”. *LOL* Also salute to Zann for her brave move to have tendered her resignation already. I have faith in u that u will land urself a better job very very soon too. I wished it will be my turn soon but til then, I’m pretty much stuck & rotting further for the time being. Haaa….

Movies

I've been watching a hell lot of movies the past 2 weeks. I guess besides the point that I love & enjoyed movies, there's reali nothing much u can do in Singapore isnt it?

1. Blood (The Last Vampire)

Verdict : It sucks big time! Funny in the stupidest way.

2. Drag Me To Hell

Verdict : The plot of the movie is pretty easy to understand and it's interesting from the beginning until the end. There is plenty of humour in this movie but the minute it wants to get scary or disturbing, it does without any hesitation. You really get some effective jumps. One of the best scenes in the movie involves a fight between Mrs. Ganush and Christine at a car park. The fight is brutal, scary, painful to watch and amusing, all at the same time! Overall, it's worth watching.

3. I Love You, Man

Verdict : There were actually a few scenes of lame humour & lengthy conversations which was not too good. But other than that, it was overall a very nice movie. Interesting storyline & something different from the usual girls-girls movie.

Next Up : Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen
Cant wait to go for the movie screening with Zann & Ling next Wed! Woohoo!

BonitoChico 3rd Birthday Bash

I'm happy to be part of the exclusive event hosted by BC. Thanks to Isa for reaching earlier, we were the 1st 100 (to be accurate, its within 1st 20 though... haha) to be in queue for entrance & goodies bag. Hee....

The hi-tea buffet spread was good, the crowd was madness & the runway show was nice! Quite an interesting experience. There's a lucky draw too but too bad, none of us won anything. Grr.... Surprisingly, I didnt buy a single pc at the bash today. Saw 1 I like but concluded that the dress might just burst on me so din get. Isa hoot a total of 3 pcs lor... That's a plus point for being smaller size. Anyway, it was reali fun except that they should consider something else than a standing cocktail style. Cos the standing for 3hrs can reali kill!

Rose & I went on to Orchard after the event just for walk & dinner. It's just so nice to hangout on a Sat with galfrens. Oh ya I did buy something afterall! Hee.. my pinkies! So not me but i just couldnt resist cos they are so comfy & cute!

"Steamy" on Fri Night

Dont get it wrong. We had steamboat! =p Due to my "sexy" voice & incessant coughing, I wasnt up to the challenge this time for taking our special concoction - Thai Tom Yum soup with chilli padi (CF's creation). I had to stick to the boring chicken soup.... oh well but it was still nice lah. Just some pics :

Happy Father's Day

We went for dinner at Ah Yat Seafood at Shaw Towers for advanced Father's Day celebration on Thurday. Overall, food is far from standard and so not worth it. Not recommended at all.

There's just gonna be pics of the dishes cos PDQ wasnt feeling up to it to be featured in any of them nor was her sis. hahaha...

Runaway to Bintan

The temptation of food

The last time we were at Bishan, BB went missing when we gals were happily shopping in C&K… But he came running back all by himself when we realized that he was missing. During our weekly dinner date this time, he went missing when we were at Cotton On.

Of cos we panicked & started walking all over to look for the missing boy! Guess where he was found after 5-10mins of searching? He was found inside Breadtalk with a tray & plastic tongs in his hands. Best part is, there’s a bread on his tray as well! Oh well, of cos he got a tongue lashing from mama cos he made us all worried. But then come to think of it, it was so damn funny! I concluded that we have something in common : we both cant resist the temptation of FOOD! *LOL*

Monday Blues....

To chase away the Monday blues & my irritable mood today, a sunflower, bearie & a note "Hope it will brighten up your day" did the trick for a while. =)

The feeling sucks when u cant get something u reali reali want.... Grr....

When the going gets tough during month-end closing, it's heartwarming to get a hot cuppa of chocolate made by your supervisor. I'm the lucky one... =)
