It means a great deal

This is certainly 1 of the best of my 2009 so far. It means so much to me & I really appreciate whatever is given to me. I couldn’t contain it & gave Chris a big hug earlier. I hope good things keep coming my way for the rest of the year & I thank God for the blessings. Thank you to all the people who were really here for me showing constant support & encouragement. I love u all.

My so-not-fun holiday to Macau-Zhuhai-HKG

Apart from the nice cooling weather, yummy food, great scenic places and some retail therapy, there reali wasnt much fun during the entire trip. Just imagine bringing a bunch of oldies along who were sooooo troublesome. Dont want to do this, dont want to do that. This cannot, that cannot. Grr... Not forgetting that I cant get my nicotine intake as & when I like. Can u imagine? Less than 5 sticks in 4 bloody days! Shucks! If u ask me, I'm not gonna do it again even if it's FOC again. Duhz...

伟菘 偲菘 好友音乐派对 2009

A brand new collaboration with friends for friends - the concert of the year, Weisong Sisong (Garden of Music) Concert 2009. This is a concert definitely worth watching cos of the star-studded cast powered by powerful vocals that pack more than a punch.

Lee Weisong & Lee Sisong have been in the music industry for a good 25 years now. They started their professional song-writing career composing soundtracks and theme songs for ever popular Chinese drama serials that stay remembered till this day. Well respected and known throughout the entertainment arena for their talent at song composing and capabilities in music production, Lee Sisong and Lee Weisong have composed and produced numerous chart-toppers for A-listers. They have done Singapore proud. =)

Jam Hsiao's effortless & powerful vocals impressed me, not forgetting he's cute in his own way. My once-idol Daniel Chan sang a medley of cantonese songs & his soooo nice 比我幸福. Touching daoooo.... Screaming started when Show came out, of cos. He's so cuuuuuttteeeee & funny! Apart from that, he displayed very on form & good vocals singing 搞笑 & 做得到that night. Next up, Jolin who sang 柠檬草的味道 & 假面的告白. Stunning performance. But somehow, it feels a bit weird to see Jolin & Show not dancing though. Final artiste of cos would be Stefanie Sun who appeared with her new look - the long hair! It's quite a nice change though. Oh not forgetting 邓妙华 too.

Didn’t your mama teach u that it’s rude to interrupt someone who is on the phone? Apparently not. Or u are just fucking blind, reali.

No doubt u are holding a higher position than any of us, but too bad u don’t deserve any respect. You work your staff like hell but u do nothing except show off your utmost skills of tai-ji. I’m glad that I don’t work under u, irritating pc of shit.

My Bimbo Moment

Ever since I bought the BC purple frock last month, I’ve not worn it once cos I was being being whiny abt the frock being too short. Isa had the black one & told me it’s fine on her though (my “fun-size” sista likes short & sexy dresses la..). She told me today that she saw a cotter enquiring if anyone was selling that. I told her I just saw a dress from Warehouse being featured in Women’s Weekly (May 09) & it looks the same! It’s retailing for about $170+ if I rem correctly.

My next response : “After seeing it in women's weekly, I decided I will wear it no matter what.” She said my comment sibei bimbo. *LOL* Oh well, as I told her, we all have our bimbo moments. Hahaha…





Oh in case anyone of u dunno, "fun-size" is a nicer term for shorties. Hahaha...

The only hatred in me

“BF” asked me this hypothetical question a few times, “What would u do if u saw ur fren’s hubby/bf on the streets with another gal behaving intimately?”

Bottomline, I will tell my gal fren but it all depends on whether she believes or not. What if she does not believe? Oh well, I’ve done my part as a fren so the rest is up to her.

That question sparked off the hatred that was buried within me for a while. I totally understand the feeling of being cheated upon as well as being the last to know abt it. Until now, it is never forgiven. Never.

My "eating" Good Friday

My main aim was to shop today since I'm going to City Plaza & Tampines One but I din get anything at all! Tampines One was almost impossible to walk in. The crowd there was shocking! So sad that I cant get into Uni Qlo cos the queue was like so freaking long! But the place is like shopping haven & food paradise. Babe, let's go next week! Haha... Fight the crowd!

Other than walking & movie "Knowing", it's about eating... *LOL*.. Went to Arnold's Fried Chicken @ City Plaza for lunch. Had a 2-pc set & also the potato platter. The fried chicken is wonderfully marinated & fried, coleslaw fresh & crunchy but the fries was so-so. The potato platter consists of wedges, criss-cut fries & natural chips. The 1st 2 were nothing to shout about though but the chips were awesome! I thought it was just those chips they poured out from a packet but no, it was thinly sliced & deep fried there. The best part is it comes with a cheese dip which makes it heaven! Am so going back there again!

Din feel the hunger until abt 9+ & I suddenly craved for kidney mee sua soup @ Changi Road. Woohoo... I love how they cook the soup with that hint of herbs, kidney slices were fresh & tastes wonderful with the red cut chillies & soya sauce. For those who dun take kidney or liver, u can have the sliced pork instead. I'm so going again tonight bringing Rose with me... hur hur...

The movie "Knowing" wasnt that bad as what most reviews state although the ending was not that good. The plane & train crash scenes were scary when u see ppl on fire & running or the ppl who were crushed by the train which got derailed. Overall, it was a not too bad movie.

Simple moments in life....

Friends require no special reason to meet. Even if it's just a simple dinner, it will be fun with the right company. Chilling out at Liquid Kitchen, just 3 women can talk the birds down. *LOL* With a kid around, we do just fine too. =)

A Mid Summer Nite Breeze

Went to check out this alfresco beachside restaurant late last night. There's a choice to dine outdoors on the wooden deck, or under the sheltered area, which has comfortable sofas to relax and unwind. It was a very nice place to chill out while enjoying the sea breeze & enjoying the great music played. It's not that recommended to sit in the smoking deck during late night if u are intending to eat cos lightings are dim with the bare minimum of candelights. Ish romantic daooo but with the right company of cos... hahaha... I will definitely be going back there again. =)

Movie Addict In Action

Fri night was The Shinjuku Incident. Story was quite good but somehow I thought the movie would have been fabulous if Jackie Chan is not the male lead. Hey c'mon! No action or fighting scenes from him except few punches or wave of the knife.. Hello? who wan to see that from him? Abit softie i find.. Daniel Wu was slightly better though.. Was quite impressed with his make-up in the later part of the show & the way he portrayed that character. Overall : Not bad.

Sat night was FF4 at the new Iluma Bugis. $6 movie tickets for a wkend show ok! Internet booking some more. damn good deal! Hahaha... With Vin Diesel back, the movie is superb! He seems to have beefed up quite a bit & still has that charisma in him. Very action-packed & clean-cut story line. Awesome daoooo!

Rebecca has a very boring job writing for a financial magazine. She has a shopping addiction and her crap job doesn't pay enough. Her bills are piling up, so she tries cutting back (complete fiasco), then she tries making more money (another fiasco). Eventually, Becky discovers a story that she is truly invested in. Exposing the story gets the attention of a colleague that she hasn't quite figured out yet. Some drama ensues as she snags the guy, and she attempts to pay off her ever-growing debt.

To some, it may be another chick flick but it's reali nice & I lurvvvee it! Did I mention that Hugh Dancy is cute too? Hahaha... Too bad the girlies couldnt make it as planned but I enjoyed it as much myself too! =)
