It may be just to earn a living or simply doing at leisure.. it costs RM5 per piece. He squats there & was totally engrossed in making the basket with nothing else but old NEWSPAPERS.... No wires, no double-sided tapes or any materials. He made all these from scratch just using pieces of newspapers... When we praised him, he just nodded with a smile across his face & turned his concentration back to what he was doing. I'm touched by the scene I saw.

i know... we saw an old man in korea also...using straws to make crickets, bags etc... we bought from him too. in bkk, they use bottle cans to make cars, tut tut car etc...
Ya but straws & cans are made of a harder & firmer material so more or less it can be used to make stuff. But newspapers lor... still very very impressed.
true leh...newspaper seems harder. definitely impressive.
